Organization of Entertainment Software Association (ESA) plans to change the format of the annual E3 Media & Business Summit, reports IGN, with reference to the site G4. During the program X-Play, it was announced that next year's event will be held from 2 to 4 June. Organizers promise to once again turn into a big E3 gaming show, which will be able to visit tens of thousands of people.
Initially, the information that the ESA change the format of the exhibition, published N'Gay Kroal (N'Gai Croal) of Newsweek. Organizers hope that the 2009 event will visit at least 40 thousand people. In doing so emphasized that the E3 will not officially open to all comers. However, the registration process will be greatly simplified, that will increase attendance. Note that in 2008 the exhibition was visited by only 5 thousand people.
Next E3 will be held in Los Angeles on the territory of the complex Los Angeles Convention Center. It is not yet known how to respond to this information, the company missed an exhibition in 2008. Perhaps the first comment will appear after the official statements by representatives of ESA, to be held shortly.
The first exhibition of E3 (which stands for Electronic Entertainment Expo) was held in 1995. By 2006, it has evolved into one of the largest game show in the world. But in 2007, organizers changed the format of events, turning it into a small conference for the gaming industry and the press. Many developers and publishers did not approve of this decision, so the next exhibition, held in 2008, some of them ignored.
