Company Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA), which is the organizer of the annual Tokyo Game Show, published data on how many people came to the event this year. According to IGN, just four days of exhibition halls of Makuhari Messe visited 194288 gamers. This TGS 2008 could set a new record attendance.

The first exhibition of Tokyo Game Show has been held in 1996. Originally the event was held twice a year - spring and autumn. Later, organizers decided to abandon this format. Now the exhibition is held once a year - autumn.
