At Tokyo Game Show 2008 set a record attendance

Company Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA), which is the organizer of the annual Tokyo Game Show, published data on how many people came to the event this year. According to IGN, just four days of exhibition halls of Makuhari Messe visited 194288 gamers. This TGS 2008 could set a new record attendance.

A year earlier exhibition are interested in 193,040 people. Record has been bruising, even though the attendance in the first two days had declined compared to the year 2007. Recall that 9 and October 10, TGS was open only for the game industry and the press. On Thursday, organizers had 27305 people, while a year earlier at the event attracted 29,783 visitors.

On Friday at the Tokyo Game Show 2008 had only 24,178 people, and last year - 32,390 people. Organizers were able to catch up on 11 and 12 October, when the exhibition was open to all comers. On Saturday at the TGS 2008 attracted 71,639 gamers, while the TGS 2007 had attracted only 64,795 visitors. On Sunday attendance has remained at approximately the same level - 71166 people. Last year, the last day of the exhibition in Makuhari Messe exhibition complex came Gamers 66072.

The first exhibition of Tokyo Game Show has been held in 1996. Originally the event was held twice a year - spring and autumn. Later, organizers decided to abandon this format. Now the exhibition is held once a year - autumn.
