Published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has confirmed information that the game LittleBigPlanet put on sale in Europe not before 3 November, said Edge. Representatives of the company can not name an exact date for withdrawal of the platformera. Reported that residents of Europe (and Britain in particular), the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand will have a game in the week after that date.
Earlier, rumors came that way in Europe LittleBigPlanet may defer up to 14 November. Note that the publisher had already identified with the North American release date - the residents of the region will get a game on October 27 this year. Further comment from Sony representatives abstained.
Recall that a new platformer, the development by the studio Media Molecule, was put on sale no later than 24 October. However, publisher SCE was forced to withdraw all discs with a game of retail sales, as well as the text of one of the songs in LittleBigPlanet were found quotations from the Koran. The company decided to remove all references to a religious book, as it may offend the religious feelings of Muslims.
This is not the first time that the company Sony claims relating to religion. Last year, the Anglican Church has accused the studio of Insomniac Games that one of the shootings in shutere Resistance: Fall of Man for the PlayStation 3 takes place in Manchester Cathedral. The company Sony was forced to make a formal apology, and in October 2007, the conflict was resolved. Note that the developers did not have to make any changes in the game.
